love

Juat a simple gesture from Raj and it felt so very great. I was really upset when Raj told me he couldnt join me for a wedding party. the fact that nothing exciting happens and that my life has become so boring swirled my mind. And then the thoughts that  he doesnt care enough addded fuel. But I was so very wrong! He knew I wouldnt  make it alone to the party and he actually arranged for my travel. I had read somewhere that love is always on the highest frequency in terms of energy. Simply put someone in love attracts all the good energy and gives out  good energy  . Just one gesture and you have added life ti my life again. Love you hubdu.

Landmark Course

Heard about the Landmark Education forum a few days back. Initially I was a bit sceptical as to join it or not. I do get  sceptical whn it comes to grops or courses which  promise u tht they will make a difference in your life...Even then I thought ..lets go andsee wht they  hav to say and then decide...I did go and volla..I  joined the initial course...not that I fell head over heels upon the presentation( somehow I feel that I hav  changed ..initially I used to believe in anything thst the person in front of me used to say..but not now..something that I realised during the intro lecture) but still something in me was crying for help ..andI think its high time now that I listen to that voice..but thn the other voice is telling me whether I would be able to do it...there is a monetary constarin currently...Am I being selfish?

Really liked the following ones from the 'Flowing Like A River ', by Paulo Coelho

 Statutes for the new millenium:
1) We are all different, and should do what we can to remain so.
2) Each human being was given two possibilities: action and contemplation. Both lead to the same path.
3) Every human being has the right to search for happiness , and by 'happiness' is meant something that makes individual feel content, not necessarily something that makes other people feel content.
4) every human being should keep alive within them the sacred flame of madness, but should behave as a normal person.
5) Only the following should be considered to be grave faults:not respecting another's rights; allowing oneself to be paralysed by fear; feeling guilty; believing that one does not deserve the good or ill that happens in ones life; being a coward.
6) everything that is done in the present affects the future in the form of consequence and affects the past in the form of redemption.

My fairy tale speech :)

I am not good at public speaking, so i wont make any long speeches. As there is a saying, "Action speaks louder" than words, my speech is going to be in the actions I take. As they also say that the pen is mighter than the sword, I appeal to you  my fellow citizens to pen down our complaints and needs

P.S - to be continued......

Many Lives

Following are the excerpts from the book Many Lives,Many Masters that my husband suggested me to read.

"That we must share our knowledge with other people. That we all have abilities far behind what we use. Some of us find this sooner than others. That you should check your vices before you come to this point. If you do not ,you carry them over with you to another life. Only we can rid ourselves....of the bad habits that we accumulate when we are in a physical state. The Masters cannot do that for us.If you choose to fight and not to rid yourself, then u will carry them over into another life. /and only when you decide that u r atrong enough to master the external problems , then u will no longer have them in your next life.

We also must learn not to just go to those people whose vibrations are thesame as ours. It is normal to feel drawn to somebody who is on the same level that u are. But this is wrong. You must also go to people whose vibrations are wrong...with yours. This is important...in helping these people."

" We are given intuitive powers we shoulld follow and not try to resist . Those who resist will meet with danger. We are not sent back from each plane with equal powers. Some of us possess greater powers than others, because they have been accrued from time to time. Thus people are not all created equal.but eventually we will reach a point where we will all be equal."

"I learnt about anger and resentment, about harboring your feelings towards people.I also had to learn that I have no control over my life. I want to control, but I dont have any. I must have faith in the Masters. They will giude me throughout. But I didnt have any faith. I felt ;ike I was doomed from the very beginning. I never looked at things very pleasantly. We must have faith...we must have faith. And I doubt. I choose to doubt instead to believe."

"Everybody's path is basically the same. We all must learn certain attitudes while we r in physical state. Some of us are quicker to accept them than others. Charity, hope, faith, love...we must all know these things and know them well. It'snot just one hope and one faith and one love-so many things feed into one of these. There are so many ways to demonstrate them. And yet we've tsapped into a little bit of each one....

"People of religious orders have come closer than any of us have because they've these vows of chastity and obedience. They've given up so much without asking for anything in return. The rest of us continue to ask for rewards-rewards and justifications for our brhaviour....when there are no rewards...rewards that we want. The reward is in doing, but doing without expecting anything....doing unselfishly. "

holy beginning.....
